The existence of life after death, makes it much harder to quit, stop living, if life becomes unbearable or otherwise unmotivated. My imoression is that life continues in life after death if the person had some wish or goal of what to do still in one's life, which was life somehow just suited to that person's character, likibgs, values etc or the like, and if such was hoped for in the world too. So dreaming of future things to do that are wished for by many, support the good of the world, may often cause such a life continuing, even if soulwandering is needed for that. But if on the other hand the person does not want to continue, but jyst lays dead, then there possibly, atleast for some time, is no better life after death than that for that person.
Changing to a dream kind of profession and lufe can appear as leaving old life circles as if via death, but the influencies on some spiritual realm ought to be different, either reflecting the lufe after death or being the cunning plans of some who want to benefit via occult means, which often has the place of obstructing the sight of former near relatives or other interfering persons to the lufe after death, which ought to suit the individual.
